Waste

Hunting produces 20,000 tons of animal body remnants or « waste » (hues, paws, guts…). More often than not, these animal body parts end in « wild » landfills. Here are a few examples of what it looks like:

The burying of legs, heads and guts is limited to under 40kg and beyond this limit, rendering collection is an obligation that comes with a cost. Through regular witness accounts, we know that hunters dump tons of animal waste and that they go as far as to use « normal » bins; there even have been some cases of private bins being used. In certain municipalities, pits are filled with corpses each covered with a layer of earth, piled on top of each other over and over again, resulting in several layers of corpses.
